Working skills

I am a qualified and experienced Art Psycho-Therapist, artist, teacher, as well as an experienced workshop facilitator, administrator and web designer. I have earned these esperiences in the United kingdom were I lived for the last 17 years.

I am a qualified Art Psycho-Therapist (MSc) - with a Master obtained at the Queens Margaret University of Edinburgh

I am a qualified teacher - with a PGCE obtained at the Institute of Education London and I have a BA Hons in Textile Design and in Arts - obtained at the Central Saint Martins in London. All these titols were obtained when I lived in the United Kingdom.

I am about becoming a member of “Associazione Professionisti Italiani Arte Terapeuti with previous membership of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) and the Health Professions Council (HPC) when I lived in the United Kingdom.

In Rome I work for the nursery l’Asilo nido “La Maisonette” ,an international school for infants and for the “Ce.R.F”. (Centro Ricerche sulla Famiglia which offers services and runs progects for family and young people. I have also done volontary work at the Ludoteca di Roma dell'Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù; a playroom in the well known hospital for children.

I am currently open to interesting work opportunities (including part-time and short term) which will benefit from my key skills and of my great deal of experience in working with a range of client groups of various age.

Understanding Art Therapy
link open in a new window "Understanding Art Therapy" as one of the various creative therapeutic approaches to provide emotional support to children. It is a powerpoint presentation created to explain the Place2Be’s Counsellors use of art therapy.

I have a large experience (over 5 years) in teaching most subjects in Computing, Digital Art, General IT, Microsoft Windows and Office, Web Design, Computer Graphics and Art in several community colleges and family learning organisations.

In a previous position at Winona E-Solutions I supervised a production team. I found it natural to motivate my team to deliver professionally and on time.

IT - Internet - Web Design:
Web Designer and Search Engine Optimisation; development, consultancy and maintenance for corporate and independent sites.
Good design skills and solid knowledge of (X)HTML and Photoshop. CSS, plus Flash and Javascript.
